GETTING HERE
BY PLANE
We highly recommend that you fly from Bangkok . This is, without a doubt, the most efficient way to reach us.
Bangkok Airways flies many times daily from Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) to Koh Samui, the larger island located next to Koh Phangan.
Thai Airways also offer a few flights with this same route.
From Koh Samui airport (USM), you will have many options of boat transfers to Koh Phangan. You can purchase your transfer at the airport. In high season, we recommend that you book your island transfer in advance. Read below for more info.
A cheaper option is to fly from Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) in Bangkok to the southern airports of Suratthani (URT) or Nakhon Si Thammarat (NST). Flights to these destinations are mainly operated by Nokair and Airasia.
These companies offer combined tickets including the flight, the bus transfer from the airport to the pier and the ferry. You can easily purchase these tickets online directly.
* Please note that these airlines also offer flights from the main Thailand cities such as Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Pattaya, etc. but often fly via Bangkok.
BY BOAT and BUS
A few companies offer bus and boat transfers to Koh Phangan. We recommend using either Lomprayah High Speed Catamaran or Seatran Discovery. You can purchase your tickets online or at any travel agents in Thailand.
